Simbang Gabi also known as Misa de Aguinaldo is the series of nine-day masses in anticipation of Christmas. The Simbang Gabi is usually held daily from December 16 to 24, happening at different times ranging from as early as 3AM to 5AM. Anticipated celebrations are also being held from December 15 to 23, that usually starts at 7PM, or sometimes maybe as late as 8:30 PM in our local churches here in Naga City. 

According to the Catholics’ belief, if you were able to complete all of the nine days’ masses, you can make a wish and your wish will come true.
